A video has shown the moment convicted police officer, Drambi Vandi, was escorted out of the court house after receiving a death sentence by hanging for the murder of Lagos-based legal practitioner, Bolanle Raheem.
Vandi shot Bolanle Raheem on 25th of December, 2022 while she was driving with her husband.
Justice Ibironke Harrison at the Lagos State High Court in the Tafawa Balewa Square annex in Igbosere, Lagos Island delivered the verdict on Monday.
Justice Harrison affirmed that the prosecution, represented by the Lagos State Government, had convincingly established the case against the convicted officer, leaving no room for doubt.
She said:
