According to FRESHREPORTERS NEWS, the musician passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27.
His death sparked controversy both within Nigeria and internationally, leading the Lagos State Government to initiate a coroner’s inquest.
The inquest, which began on October 13, 2023, is being held at the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court.
Somiari informed the Coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, stating, “We anticipate receiving the initial autopsy results within three to four weeks and subsequently verifying them to confirm the cause of death.
“We explored various possibilities, including investigating the presence of poison since no specific cause of death was mentioned.”
The forensic expert reassured the public regarding the security and monitoring of the autopsy samples.
