Mirabel has confessed during a phone conversation with activist Verydarkman that her earlier claim of being raped by a stranger was untrue. She explained that her actions stemmed from emotional distress and a history of self-harm.
“The story about a stranger raping me isn’t true. On a normal day, I cut myself. I have panic attacks, and I engage in self-harm to cope,” she said.
During the call, she further revealed, “I did that because I felt overwhelmed and just wanted to end everything. I created the other account myself. Please sir help me. I don’t have siblings, just friends. I don’t even fully understand why I hurt myself. I am a lesbian.”
When asked to clarify if, in essence, the rape story was fabricated, she responded, “I have been suicidal and I have just wanted to end it all. Yes sir.”
Her confession has sparked widespread conversations around mental health, self-harm, and the urgent need for accessible support systems for individuals navigating emotional crises.
