Messi’s Wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, Shares Thoughts on Life in Miami

Antonela Roccuzzo, the wife of Lionel Messi, recently highlighted three aspects she appreciates most about their new life in Miami — the climate, the people, and the scenery — following her husband’s transfer to Inter Miami.

Since making the switch from European football to Major League Soccer (MLS) in the summer of 2023, Messi has left a notable mark both on the pitch and off it in the U.S.

In his short time with Inter Miami, Messi has secured two significant trophies — the Leagues Cup and the Supporters’ Shield — while also drawing heightened global attention to the American soccer league.

Away from football, Antonela shared that their family has been enjoying Miami’s warm weather, and their children have quickly adjusted to the new environment without any issues.

During an interview with Haute Living, Antonela expressed her fondness for the city. “What I love the most about Miami is the climate, the people, and the landscape. All this makes you feel like you’re living in perpetual summer,” she said.

Antonela also spoke about how touched they were by the warm reception they received when they arrived, saying the welcome surpassed all expectations. “The biggest surprise for us was the warm welcome we received when we arrived. We knew it would be special, but it exceeded all our expectations,” she noted.

She added that the transition to life in Miami has gone smoothly, much to their relief. “It has actually been very easy [adapting to life in Miami], and we’re all happy about it.
