Man Utd Treat Liverpool Games Differently To Those Against Other Opponents – Klopp

Manchester United “put an extra shift in” against the Reds, according to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, after his team was held at Old Trafford.

Despite having the upper hand in the first half, Klopp’s team managed to score just one goal. Bruno Fernandes scored United’s opening goal after Jarell Quansah mishandled the ball. Kobbie Mainoo then curled in a goal to give United the advantage.

After Aaron Wan-Bissaka took down Harvey Elliott, Mohamed Salah scored a penalty kick, allowing Liverpool to steal a point. However, they were unable to score a third goal, which meant they lost the opportunity to overtake Arsenal at the top of the Premier League standings.

Even yet, Klopp—who is hoping to win the league in his last year leading Liverpool—saw it as a point earned as opposed to two lost. He acknowledged, though, that his team ought to have taken a larger lead before United made a comeback in the second half.
