A 39-year-old man has been taken into custody by the Adamawa State Police Command for using a ghostly persona to trick members of the public.
The suspect, Sani Mamman, is a well-known 419, according to command spokeswoman SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who made this revelation in a statement on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
“The Adamawa state police command has on 19/4/2024 apprehended a 39-year-old man who allegedly defrauded unsuspecting victims by pretending to be a ghost. Sounding with different tones,” the statement read.
“The man, identified as Sani Mamman, was said to be a notorious 419 who used various disguises to swindle people of their money. The Command is investigating discreetly, more details soon.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
