Man Fatally Stãbs Brother During Fight Over 13-Year-Old Girl

In a shocking turn of events, a violent altercation between two brothers over a 13-year-old girl has resulted in the death of one of them.

The incident took place last weekend in the Mbagassina Subdivision, located in the Mbam and Kim Division of the Center Region of Cameroon. However, due to a lack of connectivity in the area, the news and accompanying details only surfaced days later.

According to reports from local media, the two brothers engaged in a brutal fight that ultimately proved fatal. The source of the dispute was the young girl, who is barely a teenager.

It appears that one of the brothers, who tragically lost his life, claimed that the girl was his girlfriend. Growing suspicious of his brother’s close relationship with the girl, he confronted them.

Eyewitnesses have shed light on the events leading up to the tragic outcome. “Before the fight started, one of the brothers had been searching for the girl but couldn’t find her.

As he passed by the road, he unexpectedly encountered her with his brother,” recounted Gildas, a witness who spoke to a journalist on Thursday, July 6. “He questioned the girl about her presence there, and the other brother attempted to intervene and defend her.”

As tensions escalated, one of the brothers became incensed and stormed back to their residence, retrieving a machete in a fit of rage. He then launched a vicious attack on his sibling.

In a desperate bid to defend himself, the other brother hastily procured a knife and retaliated, ultimately inflicting a fatal wound. Tragically, the brother who was stabbed in the chest succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Both brothers sustained severe injuries during the violent altercation, but it was the stabbing victim who tragically lost his life. The circumstances surrounding this distressing incident have left the local community stunned and mourning the loss of life.
