Man Assaults BRT Driver For Scratching His Mercedes Benz In Lagos (Videos)

A man who is yet to be identified allegedly assaulted a Lagos State Bus Transit driver over an alleged scratch to his Mercedes Benz.

It was gathered that the altercation ensured after the Benz owner reportedly broke through the bus’s closed window to physically confront the bus driver.

The incident was shared on X by a user identified as Azaria, a Corps member and a passenger on the bus.

Azaria explained that following the confrontation, male passengers disembarked from the bus and forcibly took hold of the Benz driver, and dragged him into the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicle. After he got inside, they subjected him to a brutal assault and mercilessly beat him.

The X post reads:

“So the brt driver scratched the side of a Benz. The next thing we saw was the man getting down from his car (the Benz owner) rushed to the side of the driver and punched his face through a closed window,” she narrated.

“Yes, the window was closed. With one hit, he broke through, straight to the face of the brt driver and he kept punching him. As all of these was happening, people in the bus started shouting at them to open up the brt bus cos they wanted to fight for the driver

“They opened the door, the men got out and dragged the Benz owner into the brt bus while beating and punching life out of him. They were unstoppable at dealing with the Benz owner cos why would you punch a man through a closed up window? The Benz owner is the fair one

“The LASTMA officials around came to separate them and prevent the mob from beating the Benz owner too much. I was still wondering how one man can use one punch to break a very thick glass, when we got out and saw the man’s wife in the car. Laughing

“We then found out that nothing had actually happened to the said car. When we started saying nothing happened to the car, they showed us a scratch

“She came out and people began to explain to her what happened. She then explained that when it got scratched, the brt driver didn’t apologize and that was why her husband did what he did

“By this time, so many people were recording as they wanted them to deal with the Benz owner for assaulting the brt driver that badly. Here’s the driver. An old man had to ask the wife what kind of a husband he was to her, if he could do this to a total stranger cos of “anger”

“The brt driver was very wrong to have scratched the car, no arguments. But punching him through a thick glass and shattering it was too extreme. Habaaaa
