Major General Olufemi Oluyede has resumed duties as the Acting Chief of Army Staff.
Oluyede was appointed by President Bola Tinubu in a statement by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, on Wednesday, 30th of October, 2024.
Before this appointment, Oluyede served as the 56th Commander of the prestigious Infantry Corps of the Nigerian Army, based in Jaji, Kaduna.
At 56, Oluyede has a longstanding relationship with Lagbaja; both were part of the 39th Regular Course and received their commissions as officers in 1987. Oluyede achieved the rank of Major General in September 2020. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
