Nathaniel Bassey, the Gospel singer and a minister of God, has urged single ladies and gentlemen intending to marry not to ignore the red flags when considering marriage.
According to a post he shared on his official Instagram handle, the gospel singer made a reference to the alleged issue of the late Osinachi Nwachukwu’s the ‘Ekwueme’ crooner death pertaining to her husband domestic violence, said its very annoying.
Nathaniel Bassey, the minister in his post said love is not blind because God is love and God is not blind.
According to him, “Death is inevitable, but we don’t pray for it before time. However, this one has been very annoying, hearing the circumstances surrounding the death of our sister. One Whose voice thundered and reverberated powerfully in worship.
“Marriage is good and honourable. But also not by force. To those about to marry, shine your eyes. Love is not blind. Because God is love. And God is not blind.
The minister further stated that singles that intends to marry should not ignore the red flags, and beseech them to pray and check again before making decisions to marry.
“Don’t ignore red flags. Even when you say, or they said, “God said,” but you identify some traits very inconsistent with godly character, pray and check again” he added
The Gospel singer Osinachi who was a lead singer in the Dunamics church of Abuja died on Friday last week at an unknown hospital in the Abuja. Colleagues had alleged the singer died as a result of the domestic violence he received from husband in the house.
Policemen had further arraigned the husband Peter Nwachuwku to their custody.
