Lawmaker Protest Barefoot, Demands Buhari Secure The Release Of Abuja-Kaduna Abducted Train Victims

Bamidele Salam, one of the lawmaker representing Ede-North/Ede-South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency in Osun State at the House of Representatives, has on Wednesday, 1st of June, 2022 by himself held a one-man protest against rampage insecurity hitting in Nigeria.

Lawmaker Bamidele Salam who was dressed in black shirt and trouser, walked barefoot from the Unity Fountain in the Maitama area of the Federal Capital Territory, ABUJA to the National Assembly Complex, with a placard displaying that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) do more to secure the freedom of the abducted victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack.

This is coming after recent video released by the abductors of the Abuja-Kaduna train. The abductees had called on the federal government, Professor Yemi Osinbajo whose alleged classmate was among the victims, also called on Amaechi, the transportation minister who just resigned to pursue is presidential ambition.

Pictures of the abducted victims is being displayed on the placard carried by the lawmaker As he protest barefooted today.

The terror attack happened on the 28th of March, 2022.
