The Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has sealed off Maverick Estate along Anthony Oke, Oshodi Expressway.
Operatives from the Drainage Enforcement and Compliance Department closed the estate due to its encroachment on wetlands and the TREM drainage channel.
This was disclosed in a caption by the Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab on Saturday, 14th of September, 2024.
The caption reads:
