The Lagos state Governor Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commissioned the new Bariga Fire Station, a project spearheaded by the outgoing Chairman of Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Kolade Alabi.
The new station is initially equipped with mini fire trucks to enhance emergency response in the area.
Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor, Jubril Gawat on X wrote:
“Governor #jidesanwoolu today commissioned the Bariga Fire Station equipped with Mini Fire trucks, Project executed by the Chairman Bariga LCDA, Hon. Kolade Alabi.
“The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service #LagosRescue also announced that a big Fire Truck will be placed at the Station to support the operations.
“Today, Hon. Kolade officially bows out after two successful terms, with commissioning of several legacy projects for the Bariga Council.”
