President of The Gambia, Adama Barrow, visited Daura, Katsina State, where he offered prayers at the graveside of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Barrow, who is in Nigeria on a condolence visit, paid his respects to the late Nigerian leader, describing him as a statesman whose legacy resonates beyond Nigeria’s borders.
His visit was disclosed via a video by former Presidential Aide Bashir Ahmad, on Friday, 25th of July 2025.
The caption reads:
“President of The Gambia, His Excellency Adama Barrow, offering prayers at the graveside of former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura. “
“The Gambian leader, who is in Nigeria on a condolence visit, paid his respects and prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the late Leader, asking that his soul be granted eternal rest in Al-Jannatul Firdaus.”
