The Lagos state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has mourned the death of Anambra South Senator, Ifeanyi Ubah.
He described the lawmaker’s demise as a great loss to the country.
He said this in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, on Saturday, 27th of July, 2024.
The statement reads:
“The death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is shocking and a tremendous loss for our country, as well as for his home state of Anambra.
“He was an astute businessman and politician who made significant contributions to nation-building as a representative of his people in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, friends, colleagues, and associates, especially the good people of Anambra South, who are mourning the loss of their illustrious son.
“I also want to commiserate with the President of the Senate, Dr. Godswill Akpabio, all the distinguished Senators, the entire National Assembly, and the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo, over the unfortunate demise of Senator Ubah.
