Lagos begins construction of 950-metre road in Ibeju-Lekki

The Lagos state government has commenced the construction of a 950-metre road in Onishan Street, Ibeju-Lekki area of the State.

The project aims to improve road networks in the community and help reduce vehicular and human travel time.

This was revealed in a post shared on the official X page of the Lagos State Government, on Friday, 30th of August, 2024.

The post partly reads:

“In the bid to continue to bring infrastructural development to the grassroots and to fulfil the mandate of Making Lagos State a 21st Century Economy, the Lagos State Government has flagged off the construction of a 950-metre road in Onishan Street, Ibeju-Lekki.

“The project which is intended to improve road networks in the community and help reduce vehicular and human travel time, was flagged off by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje recently.

“In his address at the flag-off ceremony, the Special Adviser, Dr, Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje disclosed that since the inception of the administration of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, there has been deliberate investment in social infrastructure, especially in the communities, which is borne out of the desire to ensure even development across the State.

“Dr. Nurudeen affirmed that the flag-off of the road is a testament and a pointer to the resolve Mr. Governor has for social, economic and infrastructural development in the State.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
