La Liga President, Javier Tebas Speaks On Messi’s Possible Return To Barcelona

Javier Tebas, the La Liga president has clarified the move on possible return of Lionel Messi to Barcelona.

It could be recalled from the La Liga camp when news of the Argentine star, emerged for his possible return to Barcelona.

Lionel Messi had also in a role received a monstrous offer worth €400 million a year from Saudi Arabia club, Al-Hilal to join his counterpart, Christiano Ronaldo of Al Nassr.

The news was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano one Tuesday night.

According to him, the salary on the table for Leo Messi is worth more than $438 million per annum.

In a nutshell, Messi is believed to be keen on continuing his career in Europe, with Barcelona waiting on Financial Fair Play to make their move.

Romano tweeted: “Understand Al Hilal sent an official bid to Leo Messi: salary worth more than €400m/year.

“Leo’s absolute priority: continue in Europe. Barcelona, waiting on FFP to send bid and open talks.

“PSG bid, not accepted at this stage as Messi wanted sporting guarantees.”

If Messi eventually accepts the offer from Al Hilal, he will be renewing his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo who already has 10 league goals for Al Nassr.

However, Tebas in a new update he shared through transfer expert, Romano revealed they are still waiting for a feasibility plan from the Barcelona camp.

The La Liga President who expressed hope for the world best football star return said the team must do a lot in order to bring him back.

According to him,

“Barcelona must take many financial measures and ease their salary scale to undertake Messi’s registration. We are still waiting a feasibility plan from them”.

“As of today, I don’t see Messi’s return as feasible for Barça. But there’s a lot of time left and Barcelona can still make moves to get Leo — they must do a lot of effort in bringing him back”.

“I hope and wish Barcelona they make it happen — I’m a fan of Leo Messi, he is the best player in the world”.
