I Need More Time To Digest The Shock, Hakimi’s Wife, Abouk Speaks On Divorce Saga

Hiba Abouk, the wide of Achraf Hakimi, the Paris Saint-Germain, PSG defender has reacted to the divorce saga between her and the Moroccan star footballer.

The couple divorce saga is no more a new thing on internet platforms as the PSG defender was accused of rape in February 2023, which eventually led to their splitting.

Speaking on the happenings, the estranged wife stated that she was calm despite the rape allegation leveled against Achraf Hakimi, adding that she needed time to digest the shock.

It could be that Hiba had requested for divorce following the rape accusation against her ex husband, Hakimi.

The shocked came when she filed for more thanfifty per cent of Hakimi’s property, only for her lawyer to discover that his wealth was in his mother’s name, freshreporters reports.

Freshreporters had noted that Abouk and Hakimi have two children, Amín, 3, and Naim, 1, together after the pair married in the 2020, two years after meeting in 2018.

Speaking to ELLE on Wednesday, Abouk said,

“I am fine. There are days when it is like this, and others in which you’ve to know how to take blows and make decisions, sometimes complicated, and get used to new situations.

“Who would’ve imagined that in addition to facing the usual pain that separation entails and accepting the grief that the failure of a family project to which I had given myself body and soul entails, I would’ve to face this ignominy? I needed time to digest this shock.

She went on saying,

“When you separate, you restructure your life, but it’s not anything special either: you’ve to take iron out of the matter.

“It’s true that, with two children, it is emotionally complicated, but I’m not the first and I will not be the last. The important thing is that I have the peace of mind of having tried and done everything I had to do.

“There are decisions that cannot be made overnight. For me, it’s a premise not to rush in moments of crisis.”

Meanwhile, Saida Mouh, the mother of Paris Saint German football club’s defender Achraf Hakimi, in her reaction to the reports making the round the Internet that her son transferred all his assets to her.

Her take to the trending news, Hakimi’s mother stated it is also new to her because she has no idea.

“If he has taken any action to protect himself, I’m unaware of it,” Morocco World News quoted Hakimi’s mother as saying.

She added that if it is true, there is nothing wrong with her son taking such actions to protect himself.

“What’s the problem if the news is true? If my son does not do this, he will not be able to get rid of that woman [Hiba Abouk],” Hakimi’s mother said

Freshreporters had reported barely a week on how Achraf Hakimi’s wife filed for divorce and wanted more than half of the Moroccan footballer’s property and fortune.

He is one of the highest paid players in Ligue 1, he receives more than a million euros per month.

The ex-wife therefore would have had the jackpot.. But when they arrived in court, they realized that Achraf Hakimi had no property and that the bank had none either.

Achraf Hakimi had put his entire fortune under his mother’s name a long time ago.
