Jim Obazee has been appreciated by President Bola Tinubu for his efforts as a special investigator as he wraps up his investigation into the operations of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and associated companies.
Obazee, the former CEO of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), was named a special investigator by Tinubu in July 2023.
The inquiry is formally finished on March 31, 2024, following the completion of the assignment, the submission of a final full report, and the dismantling of all equipment used in the project.
All relevant law enforcement and regulatory authorities are presently investigating this further. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
