JUST IN: ‘Deborah Modupe, nursing student of FUOYE was k!lled by “en@my cvltist”, a son of public figure’ – Investigative Journalist, Kemi Olunoyo alleges

A Nigerian media personality and investigative journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo has alleged that one of the suspected killer of Federal University of Oye- Ekiti student, Deborah Modupe is the son of one public figure in the country.

Freshreporters media had gathered that Deborah was killed and buried in a shallow grave in Oye Ekiti. The school management confirmed the tragic incident while it ordered the closure of school indefinitely so that proper investigation can be carried out by the appropriate authorities.

In a report that went viral on social media, it was also noted that the deceased was raped, killed and buried in the middle of the night when she reportedly went for night reading around the school premises.

While the news circulated, the Student Union body of the university also condemned the tragic incident and proscribed further probe in which about 10 students have been arrested following the incident.

However, a post shared by Kemi, via her facebook handle @Kemi talks decried that the parents of the deceased should not burial her but dig deep into the matter so that justice will prevail.

She further called on the inspector general of police to wage into the matter so that proper investigation and autopsy can be carried out before the deceased is been buried.

According to her,

“Debora Modupe Atanda was a FUOYE Nursing student found with her body parts missing after she failed to return from her dorm after night reading. NEWSTIPS are bombarding my DM’s on all my social platforms and I cannot do anymore investigations as I no longer live or practice in Nigeria. I’m in a 5 hr time zone difference. The homicide investigators and EKITI Police 👮🏽‍♀️ command CP and Spokesman must handle this diligently.

THESE ARE NOT ALLEGATIONS: The school was well aware that Modupe was RAPED, KILLED AND BURIED on campus BEFORE they posted her as MISSING. There is a big coverup. Two of the enemy cultists have contacted me. An “enemy cultist” who asked for anonymity is a cultist who is an enemy with the killer cultists now snitching to a journalist on the operation. I heard 10 have been arrested. Some of them are male students on campus. The school has asked students to vacate the campus. One of the alleged cultists is a son of a high ranking public figure. After the Adedoyin case this case must not be swept 🧹 under the Nigerian carpet and must reach IGP Egbetokun’s desk as a possible federal case. If you know the family of Modupe pls ask them to get a good criminal lawyer ASAP and NOT to bury her yet‼️An extensive autopsy is needed. FUOYE is liable for a lot of wrongdoing.
