Junketing Nigerian President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has on 1st of May, 2022 Wednesday paid a visit to the United Nations World Tourism Organisation headquarters in Madrid during his travel to Spain.
Buhari and some of his ministers had traveled amid the APCs party screening of presidential candidates towards the forth coming party’s primary election.
Rauf Aregbesola, the Minister of Interior, connoted that with this visit, Buhari has become the first Nigerian leader to visit the WTO headquarters.
However, President Buhari was received by Mr. Zurab Pololikashvilil, the secretary -general of the UN WTO.
The minister said this via his Twitter handle on Wednesday(Today).
Meanwhile, Country Nigeria has got the hosting right for the first-ever Global Conference on Culture, Tourism and Creative Industry.
The conference is said to hold in Lagos state from the 14-16th of November, 2022.
