Even though they are far less attractive than they were ten years ago, the Clásicos between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are always eagerly anticipated, especially by the Spanish fans.
The Madrilenians and the Catalans crossed swords this Sunday evening on the pitch of Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, during the 32nd day of La Liga.
The match was marked by several incidents, including two goals and a refereeing scandal that has already elicited a reaction from the president of La Liga, Javier Tebas. The second half was also rich in twists and turns with goals from Fermin Lopez and Lucas Vazquez’s equalizer.
Just as both teams thought they were settling for a draw, the inevitable Jude Bellingham decided otherwise in stoppage time.
After several chances for Real Madrid, the Madrilenian efforts were rewarded at the end of the match with a last-minute goal by Bellingham, nicely set up by Lucas Vazquez from the left side of the box (3-2, 90th +1).
