Thomas Frank, Brentford coach, has revealed that he is very pleased with the Nigerian professional defensive midfielder, Frank Onyeka for signing a new four-year deal with an option for an additional year with the club.
It could be noted in July 2021, Onyeka signed with Brentford and has become a crucial player making 41 Premier League appearances.
The Bretford coach who is thrilled to have the Nigeria international on board, noted that the 25-year-old player has contributed a lot to the success of the West London club.
He said,
“I’m very pleased that Frank has signed a new contract. He has helped the team a lot during our time in the Premier League.
“During both seasons he has been unlucky with injuries, which prevented him from taking an even bigger step forward in terms of minutes, but I really like his energy.
“Frank is a great pressing player. He runs into the half-spaces and in behind, progressing up the pitch.
