“I’m Traumatized JAMB Accused Me Of Forging My Result” – Ejikeme Mmesoma Says (Video)

Young Anambra student, Ejikeme Mmesoma, who was recently accused by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) of forging her JAMB result, has come forward to proclaim her innocence.

In a video posted online, the distraught student expressed her traumatic experience of being falsely accused.

The controversy surrounding Ejikeme’s alleged forgery emerged on Sunday when JAMB announced its decision to invalidate her result in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). According to JAMB, Ejikeme had manually inflated her score and falsely claimed to be the top scorer.

The board further revealed that Ejikeme had utilized her manipulated score to secure a N3 million scholarship from Innoson Motors and was even slated to receive an honor from the Anambra State government. However, her deceptive actions were exposed before she could receive these accolades.

In an official statement, JAMB addressed the growing issue of fake results being celebrated by certain candidates through various media channels. The board clarified that many of these candidates had significantly lower scores than they had claimed and resorted to employing deceptive software to manipulate their results and mislead the public.

Among these cases, the situation of Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma stood out as particularly disheartening. She had declared a score of 362 in the UTME and received a N3 million scholarship from Chief (Dr.) Innocent Chukwuma, further adding to the gravity of her alleged deception.

The unfolding incident has sparked widespread discussions and concerns regarding the integrity of the examination system and the actions necessary to address such fraudulent practices. As investigations continue, authorities are expected to take appropriate measures to ensure the fairness and transparency of the examination process, while also determining the appropriate consequences for those found guilty of forging their results.
