Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has expressed enthusiasm for infrastructure development as he attended the official commissioning of a 30-kilometre section of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Lagos on Friday.
“I’m a sucker for new roads!” Soyinka remarked, drawing laughter and applause from the audience.
The literary icon said his presence at the event was driven by his deep appreciation for transformative infrastructure that enhances connectivity and national growth.
The commissioned stretch, which forms part of the 750km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, was unveiled by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as part of his administration’s push to modernize Nigeria’s transport network. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
