Dennis Idahosa, a member of the House of Representatives, has been announced as the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) candidate for the Edo State gubernatorial election scheduled for September 21, 2024.
Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, the chairman of the APC Edo Governorship Primary vote Committee, announced this at the end of the vote on Saturday in Benin.
Uzodinma maintains that Idahosa received 40,4483 votes overall during the race, defeating eight other contenders.
Several candidates withdrew from the primary election, including Chief Lucky Imasuen, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
