‘I turned to God before designing Priscilla Ojo’s wedding gown’ – Celebrity Fashion designer Veekee James reveals

Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has opened up about the emotional and physical journey behind creating a stunning wedding dress for popular influencer Priscilla Ojo.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, James revealed that she prayed for divine guidance before embarking on the project, determined to deliver something truly exceptional.

She described the process as both challenging and rewarding, admitting that the intense workload left her physically drained and even caused vocal strain due to exhaustion. Still, her passion for excellence pushed her through.

Calling the creation a “labour of love,” James said the design took weeks—possibly months—of dedication, creativity, and craftsmanship to bring to life.

Priscilla Ojo, clearly moved by the result, praised the gown as surpassing all her expectations and lauded James for her remarkable skill.

James also took a moment to appreciate her team for their unwavering commitment and gave all glory to God for the successful outcome.

She said partly in a video: “Do you even know I lost my voice because of this dress? I’m short of words for so many reasons. Before we created Priscy’s wedding dress, I had gone to God and said I wanted to create a masterpiece for Priscy”.

Captioning the post, she wrote: “I promised God that all the Glory will be His because He did this.
