Fresh Protests rocks Jos over Plateau k!llings

Fresh protests erupted in Jos, the Plateau State capital, on Monday in response to ongoing killings of indigenous residents by suspected Fulani militants.

Led by Christian leaders, including the Plateau State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Polycarp Lubo, the protest started at Fwavwei Junction, blocking major roads and causing heavy traffic that left many commuters stranded.

The demonstration comes amid a recent wave of violent attacks across the state, with over 100 people reportedly killed in Bokkos and Bassa Local Government Areas in the past two weeks.

Another protester, Hannatu Philip, urged the government to intervene before the situation spirals out of control.

The demonstrators, carrying placards with various inscriptions, were seen marching toward the Rayfield Government House to demand urgent security intervention. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
