“We Africans need to stóp referring our own cultures as devilîsh because of the whîtemans culture.”

“I always see a lot of untrue things about me on social media but the crazîest one I’ve seen is that I worship the devîl. I don’t always respond to those things because I don’t feel like it’s important. “

“I think what pushes them to say this is with the colors and images me and my team use in my arts. When I use colors like red and black to create those scãry images, it doesn’t mean anything. “

“If y’all see a lady with a red dress, will you call her a devîl? Most of those images I use are from my culture. “

“I come from Benin City and the world isn’t really familiar with our culture and I see myself like an ambassador to our tradition. “

“When people don’t understand anything African, they’ll term it as devilîsh. If you wanna know anything about those images I use, go to Google. “

“I cannot write songs, record them, do videos and still explain to you. That’s why music is arts, when you see it make a meaning for yourself but just know that I don’t worship the devîl. “
