Operatives of the Kebbi State Hisbah Board has nabbed one 16-year-old boy Habibu Umar, for r@ping two young girls, aged 5 and 6 in Badariya area of Birni Kebbi.
According to the board, in a statement posted on its official Facebook handle, revealed the suspect was nabbed on Tuesday, 21st of November, 2023, following a complaint by the victims’ families.
The victims were rushed to a hospital for immediate medical attention.
According to the state, medical reports show evidence of penetration on their girl’s private parts.
During interrogation, Habibu confessed to the crime.
The suspect has been handed over to the police for further interrogation and investigation.
