Helicopter Carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi Suffered A “Hard Landing,”

A helicopter carrying Iranian President Raisi experienced a “hard landing” in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province.

The incident occurred near Jolfa, close to the Azerbaijan border.

Search and rescue teams are allegedly trying to locate the helicopter carrying President Raisi, which went down near the Sangun copper mine.

A reporter on site noted that the fog is extremely thick, reducing visibility to less than 5 meters, and heavy rain complicates the search in the mountainous and forested region.

Iran’s Interior Minister stated that rescue crews have not yet reached the crash site, contrary to earlier reports from IRNA.
