The Lagos Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu attended the Ikoyi Club 1938 Table Tennis Annual Party, where he received the Special Guest of Honour award.
This was made known via a post the Governor shared on his X handle on Saturday, 25th of January 2025.
He described the recognition as meaningful, stating that it reflects his deep passion for the sport and the gratitude from the club and its members.
The post reads:
“I attended the Ikoyi Club 1938 Table Tennis Annual Party yesterday and was honoured to receive the Special Guest of Honour award.
“The recognition was significant, as it reflects my passion for the sport and the club’s and its members’ appreciation.
