Governor Usman Ododo, the successor to the troubled former governor of Kogi State, reportedly whisked the embattled former governor, Yahaya Bello, out of his Abuja home, according to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This was verified by a senior EFCC source, who wished to remain anonymous, to Channels Television.
This comes after anti-graft agency agents spent the majority of Wednesday under siege at the former Kogi governor’s home in Wuse Zone 4.
Bello’s home and driveway were blocked off by the EFCC on Thursday in an effort to have him taken into custody and charged with corruption.
The anti-graft agency confirmed that the Kogi State governor took Bello with him when he eventually departed the premises of his predecessor. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
