The Governor of Adamawa state Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has announced an increase in the monthly allowance for members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) posted to Adamawa State, raising it from N20,000 to N30,000.
He made the announcement while declaring open the 2025 Batch B Stream I NYSC Orientation Camp at Damare.
In a statement on his official X handle, Fintiri also revealed plans to build a new NYSC permanent camp in the state.
The statement reads:
“Today, I declared open the 2025 Batch B Stream I NYSC Orientation in Damare.I announced an increase in corps members’ monthly allowance from ₦20,000 to ₦30,000. “
“We’re also set to build a new NYSC camp, with professionals in relevant fields engaged in the project.”
