Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has unveiled a substantial support package for visually impaired gospel artist Chris Vic, praising the singer’s resilience and spiritual impact.
On Sunday, the governor announced he has instructed the Lands Commissioner to allocate a plot of land in Uyo to the singer, with the Certificate of Occupancy to be signed personally next week.
Additionally, Governor Eno approved the construction of a four-bedroom house for Chris Vic and his family. The state has also committed ₦100 million to build and equip a professional music studio for the artist.
The governor further pledged a monthly allowance of ₦1 million to the singer throughout his tenure.
Governor Eno described Chris Vic’s journey and music as an inspiration to many Nigerians, framing the gesture as recognition of his faith and perseverance.
The announcement comes after the singer’s recent performance and personal testimony gained widespread attention online.
