“An Ebonyi based parboiled rice vendor who told me that her name is Njideka refunded the sum of six hundred and seventy five thousand naira ( N675,000) over paid to her account by her customer despite the bitting economic hardship during this period.
According to her, she and her customer met online and have never seen each other physically. But the man decided to place order for the Abakaliki rice from her at the price of seventy five thousand naira ( N75,000). The rice is to be well billed to him.
Eventually, on wanting to transfer seventy five thousand naira (N75, 000), he mistakenly transferred seven hundred and fifty thousand naira (N750,000).
On receiving the alert, she contacted the customer and demanded for the confirmation of the actual amount he transferred. He confirmed and became astonished.
