Former Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila Resigns From 10th National Assembly

Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has officially tendered his resignation from the 10th National Assembly.

This move comes after his recent appointment as the Chief of Staff (CoS) by President Bola Tinubu. Gbajabiamila’s decision to step down from his position in the National Assembly has triggered consequential actions within the legislative body.

Following Gbajabiamila’s resignation, the current Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has declared his vacant seat.

This declaration signifies the initiation of the process to fill the now-vacant position in the House of Representatives.
