Former Chelsea Forward João Félix Becomes Fourth Highest Paid Star in Saudi Pro League After Al-Nassr Switch

Portugal international João Félix has officially joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, becoming the fourth highest paid footballer in the league.

The 24-year-old forward signed a two-year deal with the Riyadh-based club, reportedly worth around €70 million, translating to approximately €35 million per season.

The move follows Félix’s inconsistent spell at Chelsea and Atlético Madrid, but Al-Nassr is betting big on the talented attacker to boost their attacking options alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

Félix transfer fee is said to be around €30 million, with an additional €20 million in potential performance-related bonuses.

With this move, Félix now ranks behind only Cristiano Ronaldo, Riyad Mahrez, and Karim Benzema in the Saudi Pro League’s salary hierarchy.

His arrival further cements Saudi Arabia’s aggressive push to attract elite European talent to its domestic league.
