The Federal Government has announced a N5 billion relief package for traders impacted by the recent fire outbreak at Singer Market in Kano State, aimed at helping victims recover from substantial losses.
In addition, governors elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC), through the Progressive Governors’ Forum, have contributed a collective N3 billion, bringing the total support to N8 billion.
The combined financial assistance is intended to help affected traders rebuild their businesses and facilitate the swift reopening of the market, a vital commercial hub in Kano.
