A man identified as Marcel Udeh allegedly shot and killed his teenage son over food in Eziama Lokpaukwu village, Umunneochi Local Government Area, Abia State.
It was reported that when the man arrived home, he discovered that his son had consumed the leftover food in the pot without permission.
Enraged, the suspect ran into his room, pulled out a revolver, and shot his son, killing him instantly.
A video shared online shows Udeh with both hands tied and placed over his son’s lifeless body.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Maureen Chinaka, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, February 27, said that the suspect has been arrested.
“We got a report at Umunneochi Division, the suspect has been arrested. The matter has been transferred to the SCID for discreet investigation and will be
