Ex-Husband Accuses Apostle Chikere of Shipping Car to Nigeria, Falsely Claiming UK Insurance Payout

The founder of Heaven’s Gateway Ministries, Apostle Chikere Nwafor, has been accused by her ex-husband, Martin Ogbulu, of shipping her Lexus car from the United Kingdom to Nigeria and then fraudulently claiming it was stolen to obtain a £17,000 insurance payout.

According to Martin, he first noticed the car missing from its UK parking spot, and Apostle Chikere initially told him her cousins had borrowed it. Weeks later, she allegedly called him in a panic, asking for his help after she had informed her UK insurer that the vehicle was stolen. Martin states the insurance company later paid her nearly £17,000, but he insists the car was never stolen; he provided photos showing the same vehicle in both the UK and Nigeria.

Martin claims this incident is part of a pattern of deceptive behavior. The report also revisits a previous case in which Apostle Chikere was accused of orchestrating the arrest and prolonged detention of her longtime church caretaker in Lagos over missing construction materials. Martin alleged she used her influence to delay the caretaker’s legal proceedings.

As of this report, Apostle Chikere has not responded to these accusations. Her ex-husband warns that these incidents may reflect a broader pattern of targeting vulnerable individuals while leveraging connections within the justice system.
