The immediate past Executive Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Agiriye Agba Harry, has hailed the Rivers State Governor, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, over his sustained commitment towards peace and harmony in the State, describing it as a rare virtue, possessed by the governor.
He maintained that peace remained the bedrock and fulcrum of development and advancement of any society, aligning with the governor’s position that no price was too much to pay for it.
Dr. Harry in a statement issued to newsmen in Port Harcourt, commended the governor for matching his words with action, by not only professing peace, but for demonstrating it with all sense of responsibility, humility, sincerity and commitment, noting that the equanimity and maturity of the governor in handling situations had made him an enigma and an institution in public service.
While commending Governor Fubara for giving him the rare opportunity to serve as Chairman of DELGA, Dr. Agba Harry, reiterated his unalloyed support and loyalty to the governor and his principles, noting that; “the good people of Degema LGA were eternally grateful and stand solidly behind him due of his goodwill and benevolence towards them.”
Dr. Harry, who expressed full support for the ongoing reconciliatory efforts by all parties, prayed for the quick return of the governor and all other suspended democratic organs, in order for the people of the State to continue to enjoy democratic dividends. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
