No fewer than 1,000 aged women from across the 13 Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State on Monday went naked to protest in Lafia, the capital city of the state calling for a review of the state’s recently concluded governorship election.
The women were seen half-naked, sang emotional songs in Hausa, and held leaves in their hands while staging protest as against their will.
Speaking during the protest which held at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP secretariat in Lafia, State Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, Stella Oboshi, appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to review the election results.
