Ekiti state Gov’t approves key policy initiatives on innovation, security, infrastructure

The Ekiti State Executive Council, chaired by Governor Biodun Oyebanji, has approved a bill establishing the Ekiti State Council for Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The approval was given during the Ekiti State Executive Council meeting chaired by Oyebanji.

Also approved were a new grazing regulation law aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence in communities, and a solar streetlight project along the Bovas–Spotless Hotel Road in Ado Ekiti.

The streetlight project is part of efforts to enhance safety and beautify the state capital.

According to a statement on the State’s official X handle, the government said: “these are not just plans; we are taking action.”
