Paul Omotoso, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Ekiti State, has passed away.
Family members confirmed that the politician and lawyer, who was born in Imesi, Ekiti, passed away early on Wednesday morning following a brief illness.
Omotosho, who was rumored to be active and have attended a number of political gatherings early in the week, reportedly complained of his health on Tuesday, prompting an emergency room visit to the state capital’s government hospital, where he ultimately passed away.
Recall that the late APC leader was taken hostage by gunmen in July 2023 and freed after spending five days in their lair.
Omotoso’s demise coincided with the mid-February dying of Fatai Adams, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
