President Muhammadu Buhari, in his goodwill message to Muslims marking the end of Ramadan fasting, has declared that his administration has delivered on its promise to ensure free, fair, transparent, and credible 2023 general elections.
Freshreporters Media reported that President Buhari made this statement in his goodwill message to Muslims, marking the end of the 30-day Ramadan fasting season and the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
His spokesperson, Garba Shehu, issued the message on Thursday night, where the President highlighted that the peaceful outcome of the 2023 general elections will be recorded as one of his administration’s proudest achievements.
The President further stated that he did not interfere with the process to give anyone an unfair advantage, emphasizing that the elections were so transparent that even members of his own party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), were defeated.
