Don Jazzy Reveals Reasons Behind Not Signing Davido and Wizkid

The popular music producer, Don Jazzy, has candidly discussed his decision not to sign two Afrobeat icons, Davido and Wizkid, under his now-defunct record label, Mo’ Hits.

Don Jazzy, who co-founded Mo’ Hits Records alongside D’banj in 2006, shared his thoughts during a recent podcast conversation with Fisayo Fosudo. He revealed that the reason he couldn’t secure Wizkid’s signature was because Banky W’s EME label got to him first.

He expressed that it would have been an “amazing” partnership if he had managed to sign Wizkid onto his label.
