President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians to celebrate the Christmas season with moderation and responsibility, specifically advising against excessive alcohol consumption to ensure everyone’s safety.
Speaking in an interview with News Century TV, the President emphasized that the festivities should be a time of unity, joy, and mutual respect, free from actions that could jeopardize lives or public peace. “Stay in peace, dance in peace, no alcohol, no danger to anyone’s life,” Tinubu stated.
He further encouraged citizens to foster a strong sense of communal care, viewing one another as members of a single national family who should look out for each other’s well-being.
This appeal is part of a wider national call for calm, responsible behavior, and social harmony as the country enters the holiday period.
