Charles Awuzie, a South Africa-based Nigerian business mogul gave insight on how David Adeleke, a Nigerian music star professionally known as Davido defrauding crypto started.
Recall that Freshreporters Media had early on Thursday, 30th of may, 2024 reported that the music star Memecoin was launched and how Nigerians without wasting much time joined the trading platform.
The platform which came as good news to many Nigerians in the morning ended up as bad one in the evening.
Charles Awuzie, one of the co-founder of transhuman coins pointed out how the problem started. In his word, he said

In November 2021, they rushed to create $Echoke coin and Davido Marketed and it collapsed…
I told them that Crypto is not about fame… To sustain a coin over some years requires more than fame. I told them never to launch their own coin but find an existing coin and partner with them.
Now Davido is in trouble for allegedly launching $Davido which has collapsed again losing over 93% in value.
Fact check me: DAVIDO Never created any coin until after the date of this offer as published by multiple blogs in Nigeria including Linda Ikeji, gist lover and legit.
One of Davido’s team member told me “go to h£ll, we can create our coin”.
I really feel bad for DAVIDO…. Crypto will stain your white clothe if you are not careful.
