Men of the Maiduguri Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, 28th of May, 2024 nabbed five
suspected illegal bureau de change operators in Maiduguri, the capital city of Borno State.
The anti-graft agency reveled this in a post shared via their Facebook handle on Thursday, 30th of May, 2024.
According to the commission, the suspects were arrested in Borno State Hajj Camp, situated at Sir Kashim Ibrahim College of Education, Maiduguri. Their arrest followed credible intelligence about their involvement in the sale of foreign currencies.
